Stud Dog Breeding Contract
Females must have the following requirements at the time of breeding:
OFA or Penn Hip certified hips, Up to date on vaccines, EIC clear for Erik breedings only
Brucellosis test done within 30 days of the breeding
Our facilities include a large, heated kennel building with indoor runs and a large, fenced airing yard. Super Premium dog food is fed twice a day and daily exercise, but we ask that you bring food for your female's stay. Female should arrive at our kennel at the receptive stage of her heat cycle. We highly recommend progesterone testing for optimum breeding timing. Females usually breed between the 10th to 15th day of their heat cycle. We guarantee one breeding, and two if possible, depending on the schedule of the male. Contact us as soon as possible if your female will be flying here. Frozen semen is available on Tanner, stored at the Missouri University and must be handled by an experienced reproduction veterinarian.
Stud fees are $200 (non-refundable) at the time of breeding; remainder is due ten (10) days after whelping or at the time of litter registration signing, whichever comes first. 3 pups are considered a litter; less than 3 will be charged at $300 a pup.
If we agree upon a puppy in exchange for stud service, it will be an even trade. No additional money will be paid for the puppy. The puppy will be first pick of either sex by us or must be delivered to our kennel by 8 weeks of age. A veterinary health check will be required.
